My husband and I have a very old house (over 100 years old) with plaster walls that have 50-year old wallpaper on them. The house has beautiful oak woodwork throughout, and he has been very respectful not to damage it while getting down the wallpaper and painting the walls. He even took down our railings, cleaned and varnished them so they look like new! He's quick but mindful, ensuring a quality job. David is always willing to listen to what you have to say about the job at hand; he consults with great kindness, while offering suggestions and helping you to see what is possible beyond the task at hand, and ultimately does what is asked of him. He is easy to work with and has a great attitude! I would hire him again to do anything related to painting and/or construction.

David is and has been painting several areas of our home. Has recommended colors, quality and types of paint, and has done impeccable work. Even removed & patched plaster problems, as well as polished wood hand rails not originally part of project. Cleans up. Trustworthy. Highly recommend!

David was asked to remove wallpaper from a dining room, bathroom and powder room, repair the walls and paint. David did a great job! He was able to start my job quickly, took great care in the prep work and kept to his schedule and pricing as quoted. We will call him again for future projects!

Never be afraid to ask lots of questions! It's your home, your project. Ask for references always and always call on them. The cheapest bid may not save you money in the long run (it might actually cost you money), but get more than one bid and don't be afraid to question each contractors bid and bidding process.
