Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Before contacting a remodeler, do some research. Come up with a budget, and look through design magazines, the internet, or home product stores to begin to get a feel for the types of materials, fixtures, styles, etc. that you like.
It is the job of a good remodeler to provide you with the most "bang for your buck", and we do that by continually seeking the most cost effective suppliers and material providers.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. It is our attention to detail, costs and professionalism that sets us apart. We will not take on more work than we can handle, and as such, are able to focus on your project and make certain that it is completed to your full satisfaction.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I enjoy working with the homeowner's in bringing their remodeling vision to reality. Every job is different with it's own unique challenges and rewards.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. How much will this cost? My answer is typically that is up to you. I always advise potential clients to come up with a budget for how much they are willing to spend.
It is then my job to balance the homeowner's desires against that budget. Many times, a job can be completed for less than originally anticipated. We pride ourselves on working within the cost parameters set by the client, while still maximizing the quality of the end product.
Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?
A. While it is not particularly new to the field, it is new to the Madison area. American Rainware's UnderDeck Oasis under deck drainage system is a patented, high quality drainage system which is installed beneath an elevated exterior deck. This product collects rain water (which typically drips between the overhead deck boards) into a central gutter system, and away from the space.
It converts typically unattractive and under-utilized space into a desirable outdoor room at a fraction of the cost of an addition. IPG Construction, LLC has been granted the exclusive marketing/installation rights for this product for all of Dane County, Wisconsin.
