I have spent the past five years as a runway, clothing & jewelry fashion, editorial/print, commercial advertisement, and HAIR model, rotating continuously through the Madison, Chicago, and Milwaukee markets. In the hair care industry, Ive represented companies such as Wella and Sebastian, Paul Mitchell, Aquage, Matrix, Redken, and Onesta (many times working directly with each brand's platform artists--including Nick Arrojo, Vivienne Mackinder, Julie Larr, and Eric Fischer) . Candi has been a vital part of many modeling projects for publication and performance for me, and her work is always outstanding and professional. Not only is her hair and makeup work impressive, but she has also done extreme color correction and cut for a previously extremely botched dye job that had destroyed my hair prior to her work. Before I met Candi, I was a 50-something leaning towards the low-maintenance old-hippie look. Candi brought my hair and eyebrows up-to-date yet kept me looking like me. She still does; I have been a client for years. My facial experience was fantastic. It was both a skin treatment and analysis ~ I even learned that the thing on my face that was bugging me is a colorless mole! I highly recommend Candi.

Candi is great! I have gone to her several times, usually for a cut & color and a brow wax. She does a thorough consultation before starting which helps me determine what I want done. This is really helpful for me as I can be indecisive. She helped me determine what would look good with my face shape. She is really knowledgeable and keeps up with the latest trends. I would highly recommend her!

FAQs

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take 2 to 3 classes a year in various techniques in hair and makeup. I mix it up to stay on trend and ready for what is up and coming!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I do on location bridal parties for hair and makeup services, which are my favorite! I am also available for prom styles, bridal trials, cuts, colors, makeup applications, makeup lessons, facials, editorial work for photo shoots, runway shows, and film projects.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently worked in a full feature film, now in post production, called 'A Light Beneath Their Feet '. During the filming of this I did hair and makeup for Taryn Manning (Orange is the New Black on Netflix) and Madison Davenport (recently released movie Noah, starring Russell Crow).
