- How did you get started doing this type of work?
While in college at Southern Illinois University I received professional bodywork from a Licensed Massage Therapist, and that inspired me go to massage school after graduating from S.I.U.C. After graduating from massage school at New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts, I moved back to the Midwest to practice massage for several years. I then experienced Ayurvedic Bodywork at an Ayurvedic Center in Madison, WI, and I became inspired to move to New Mexico to study Ayurveda with Dr. Lad at The Ayurvedic Institute. Upon graduation, I moved back to Madison, WI, to open my own business Madison Ayurveda & Massage, LLC in 2011.
