Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Brides and Grooms.. I always suggest talking to a few wedding photographers. Its important to really "click" with your wedding photographer. You will be spending your special day seeing alot of me.. I want you to be comfortable and enjoy yourselves.
Children/Newborn/Family.. I suggest looking on my website at my style of photography before booking. I like to capture your child's personality and your family's bond.. sometimes that doesnt mean a HUGE smile.. sometimes its a sweet look from the sweet 3 year old girl.. or a temper tantrum from your two year old. Of course I love a wonderful smile.. but I push myself to have each individual childs personality come across in your session. If thats what you are looking for.. Call me :)
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Communication before the session is important. Before your wedding.. at your consult, if you HATE something.. tell me. If you see an image you love.. send me a link - it will give me a better idea of what you are looking for and help me provide you with creating the best images I can. I have a style you can see in my images.. if you are looking for more traditional I encourage you to hire a photographer who will provide you with what you really want. I want you to love what I do, and be happy with all your images.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Wedding Clients- A clear idea of how many images/cd/album/etc - any question to ensure you and I are on the same page.
Children- I think the biggest question should be.. what happens if my child has a huge meltdown and needs a break? The difference between a high volume portrait studio and me is.. I have time to wait it out, let your child get a snack, etc.
Newborns- What should I bring? Bring any outfit that fits you.. your baby.. your lifestyle. While I like to keep it simple, something that means alot to you will make the best prop ever. Handmade by Grandma? Yes please!
