After a two-month survey of over 6,000 small business owners nationwide, Thumbtack.com has released new data showing that Milwaukee's small businesses were the #10 healthiest in the nation. However, Milwaukee small business owners were the #1 least optimistic in the nation about their prospects over the coming year.
Some of the key findings for Milwaukee include:
- Milwaukee's lowest grade was the 'F' for its networking programs.
- Small businesses rank Metro Milwaukee as having Wisconsin's lowest hiring costs.
