Introduction: I believed one should never stop learning. So I have made it a point to continue my learning and stay on top of the current trends and techniques. Many instructors never take the time to really learn the proper skills and techniques and in turn pass bad information on to students. For the last several years I have been working very hard to take the USISTD certifications and currently have received highly commended in my exams for American Smooth, American Rhythm, International Latin and Argentine Tango. Sorry, I do not teach ballet, tap, jazz, bachata or hip hop. Meeting so many great students, many who have become lifelong friends.

I reserved an hour lesson for us and our wedding party, the groomsmen wouldn't go but my bridesmaids brought their husbands and we all has SO much fun! It was a great chance to relax and laugh before the wedding. If you are planning to learn a dance for your wedding I would definitely recommend taking more than one class.

Incredibly responsive and helpful! I can't tell you how many unanswered voice mails and unreturned email inquiries I had to deal with from other studios, but certainly not with Connie! She was completely on top on all the business aspects one needs go through before you can ever hit the dance floor. I have no doubt that the rest of our experience will be as positive as our introduction. I can't wait!

I have been a student of ballroom dancing with Connie Reeves for approximately five years and have been consistently impressed and more than satisfied with the outstanding teaching she does. Connie always arrives in a positive frame of mind, eager and enthusiastic to teach and guide. She finds innovative and enjoyable methods of teaching, whether simple and basic steps to a beginner or more challenging and elaborate patterns to a more advanced dancer. Connie takes her teaching and her dancing with the utmost seriousness. Yet her instruction is always fun and pleasant. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Private lesson: $70/hour Private lessons are at East Towne Ballrooms in downtown Milwaukee or Wauwatosa Lion's Club. I do have a small private lesson package of 5 hours for $325 or 10 for $625. Group classes available at Wauwatosa Lions Club for $10/person drop in or $70 for a 8 class punch card. Dances change monthly and are Tuesdays at 7pm and 8pm. See schedule for dances and dates.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every student is different and every couple is different. But, I get to know the learning style of each student and how I can best help them to learn.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continue to daily work on the USISTD and ISTD dance syllabus. I'm currently preparing to take my Licentiate exam in American Rhythm but currently hold with a highly commended certification Associate American Smooth (Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz), Associate & Licentiate American Rhythm (Cha Cha, Rumba, Swing, Mambo, Bolero), Associate International Latin (Jive, Paso Doble, Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba), Associate International Standard (Waltz, Tango, Quickstep, Foxtrot) and Associate Argentine Tango certifications. I have also train new instructors to prepare for their exams also. Sorry, I do not teach ballet, tap, jazz, bachata or hip hop.
