- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Faux finishes can range from $300-$500 per average size room. Some techniques are layered and complicated so may be higher. Murals depend not only on size but how much detail is involved and how complicated the design is. I am happy to work within a clients budget. Often there are tricks to give the impression that an entire room is filled with a mural with clever and practical placement of elements to make a big bang with your buck.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am collaborative in my work with clients to combine their vision with my experience for the best possible outcome for each job. Some clients have an exact concept in mind, but often they cannot quite articulate or envision what they want and it requires a process of discussion, shared images or sketches to reach the final desired outcome. I enjoy helping my clients do this, and allowing them to be part of the process!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been creating murals professionally since 1998, and have many more years of experience in fine art.
