Introduction: I have been providing personal training since 1995. My focus has been on general fitness, recovery from injuries, sports fitness, and body fat reduction. My clients like the motivation, the variety of exercises and muscle systems worked, and my overall system for long-term health. Clients can either train in my studio, their home, or their gym, if that is allowed.

    Make sure to hire a trainer that asks what your goals are. They should then let you know if reasonable and attainable. Their proposal should focus on reaching your goals while taking into account your previous injuries, current fitness level, appropriate level of exercise intensity, and your exercise likes/dislikes. Only then is it personal training and not a trainer's preferences.
