Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. I mostly work with Beauty, Fashion, and editorial images for clients. But, I'm capable of working on any type of image as long as it is high quality.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love that I can completely transform an already great image to a beautiful master piece of perfection.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. When I first started college, I took a Photoshop class my first semester. At first, I absolutely hated the software and didn't understand it. It was after I realized that I was able to apply everything I learned in class to my own photographs that my passion for Retouching began. Since that moment I have been doing Photo Retouching, and I have loved every second of it. It is my true passion in life.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Yes, I'm currently in school trying to build upon what I already know. I'm always trying to stay current with technology and techniques used in my profession to provide the best service to all my clients.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. I would suggest looking up lots of tutorials online. I learned a lot of different techniques and skills from watching other people.
