FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A professional event photography should be fully licensed and carry good General Liability insurance. Imagine your photographer knocking over a beautiful piece of art work at your wedding venue or a guest tripping over his lighting equipment. General Liability insurance makes sure you're both covered. Also look for a photographer who has a solid storage system in place. You don't want to receive a phone call from your photographer stating that all of your images have just been loss due to a hard drive failure. Make sure they have backup options! One last note may be to ask if they shoot in RAW or JPEG mode on their camera. Shooting RAW is the absolute best way to capture your memories as it is non-destructive. It captures all of the information hitting the sensor and transfers it to the computer unchanged. JPEG is a destructive form of editing photos in camera, reducing the chances of saving a missed shot.
