Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Take the time to speak with the references. Often it is an inside picture to what services a customer has experienced with the company. So many times I hear that a dissatisfied customer from another company didn't take the time to verify references... it is so very simple.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I think what I would want to know most about is value-based contracting. It makes it possible to create the vision a homeowner has in their mind without large extra costs. A value-based contractor is the "secret" to this concept.

A. I enjoy meeting and educating homeowners to value-based services. We have outstanding references from all of our customers, so when a referral calls me and tells me a customer so highly recommended us, it is very gratifying!

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. A lot of folks ask us about Solatubes, which are an excellent source for natural daylighting. The amount of sunlight delivered from these tubular skylights truly is amazing. My answer to questions about them is you will never regret having them installed!

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. We have many repeat customers. One in particular called us after some basement flooding to have her basement bathroom remodeled as the flooding damaged the room. Three days later she had a beautiful new bathroom that was painted, all new fixtures and a very appealing design. When I brought her down to see the new bathroom, because of the trauma the flood caused her, her eyes teared up, she expressed how very happy she was and she gave me a hug! Very satisfying for me.
