Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. When discussing your project with a future contractor, it helps to know not only what you want, but what you DON'T want. Tastes vary among consumers and eliminating assumptions saves time and costs. This will also help compare estimates from contractors.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. In remodeling, you tend to get what you pay for regarding talent and workmanship. Designing ideas, skilled tradesmen and expert installation crews may cost more, but you will appreciate their abilities everytime you use your new kitchen, bathroom or finished basement.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Does the contractor have references?
How long have they been in business?
Are they fully insured?
Are they certified to do the work that they are being hired to do?
Do they have a "one size fits all" approach to clients or are they willing to custom tailor a project?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Budgets are very important in remodeling, this helps determine building materials and services that can be included at a price that the consumer is comfortable with. This will also help in comparing contractors when ALL the contractors are working off the same plan and budget.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. After the initial meetings, designing and product selections comes the scheduling. This timetable of events is setup in advance of any work and provided to the client for input. Consumer feedback shows that we are consistant in finishing our projects on time and within budget without sacrificing quality.
