Our studio specializes in 3 styles of photography:
1. Portraiture, including, senior, family, and executive
2. Event photography, which includes, class reunions, military reunions, and corporate events
3. Commercial photography - photography created for business
Since the opening of Studio1410 - Tim Swoboda Photography, it has been my business philosophy to exceed my clients' expectations and provide solid photography tempered with artistic vision.
It should be noted that our event photography division creates on-site prints for customers. These photos may be customized with text, graphics, or logos - anything you would like. Our event photographs then become keepsake souvenirs and not just snapshots. The printer used at events is a photographic printer, not an off-the-shelf inkjet. This printer outputs photographs at a rate of 120-8x10-sized prints, 240-5x7-sized prints, 480- 4x5-sized prints, or 960-wallet-sized prints per hour.
Also, with our event photography division, we can produce green-screen Hollywood-style of photography. This has been part of our business for more than 5 years. This is a really cool option at events. We can photograph your clients and have it look like they're in Hawaii, Japan, or any other exotic location, or maybe inside a factory or perhaps be put on the cover of a magazine. Tell us your needs, and we can create a custom border and graphic for your corporate events.
Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. First and foremost, make sure that the photographer makes you feel comfortable. If you don't feel comfortable with the photographer, your final images will show it. Make sure you see samples of the photographers work. Make sure you spend enough time with the photographer that all your questions are answered.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Price is not a key element in deciding on which photographer to hire. What is pinnacle in deciding on a photographer is style and personality. First of all, a photographer should make you feel comfortable. It should be as easy talking to a photographer as it is your own brother or sister. After you have determined your comfort level, look at samples - be sure that the images match what you are looking for. Then it is time to talk about price.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Is retouching of images included in the price? Does the studio offer a money back guarantee? Is there a payment plan available? How long does it take to get my order after it has been placed? When are payments due? Can I get my photography done at a special location?
