Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. One of the most common questions that I am asked by prospective clients is whether their website is going to be displayed on the first page of Google. Although many companies guarantee this, the truth is that guaranteeing first page ranking is a lie. Granted, 9 times out of 10 we are able to attain first page ranking. However, if your business is in a competitive market with large corporations who have unlimited marketing budgets, it is going to take more than simply designing a sound, search engine optimized website to compete with these businesses.
At Liberty Web Marketing we employ sound design and SEO techniques in conjunction with marketing strategies that practically guarantee that your local business website will be in the first 5 spots of the first page of Google, but the most important thing to keep in mind is that result of this caliber take several weeks, and even months to attain.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Probably one of the most basic "inside secrets" that I would share is the over-glamorized and often discussed subject of design cost.
On an average it take me approximately 15 to 25 hours to design and upload a given website template. This takes into consideration any of the time that is necessary to design or otherwise modify logos or other graphic images that will be implemented into the design, as well as uploading the content for the website. Based upon an hourly rate of $35, times 25 hours, the total cost in labor comes to $875.
I know businesses that have invested anywhere between $2,000 and $5,000 for their website and I just cannot find any ethical way to justify that amount. That is why I started Liberty Web Marketing - to offer competitive pricing with the utmost attention to detail and effectiveness in the search engines.
