Introduction: I make your ceremony a highlight of your special day! Each event is special and should have its own design. I provide marriages, handfastings, and non-denominational services that are designed to meet your needs. I cater to all races, sexual orientations, and religious preferences. I have been providing clerical service since 1998. As ordained clergy, all payments are honorariums. Discounts are available for educators, first responders, and military active or retired personnel. I help you decide what parts of your special day you want and create a ceremony that is as unique and individual as you are.

Peter was a pleasure to work with !!! My husband and I are a young couple who planned our wedding ourselves and felt very flustered the day of. Peter lifted a huge amount of weight off of our shoulders by being kind and knowledgeable! He helped my husband prepare and be comfortable while having his pictures taken as well as gave our young photographer many amazing photo ideas ! (Which made for some stunning pictures, he swiftly stepped aside for our kiss ) if you have any questions about any part of your wedding please ask him them , I wish I would have sooner. I messaged him while at the courthouse getting our license for his address and he responded in minutes which was appreciated!

We hired Rev. Dr. Hertzberg for our wedding and couldn't have been happier. Everything from the vows to the length of the ceremony were exactly what we envisioned our day to be. Peter was an excellent choice , immediately upon meeting him there was an ease and familiarity. His manners were top notch, and his delivery of the wedding was well paced , sensitive , and a very good garden path into the place of marriage. Rev. Hertzberg did a fantastic job with our wedding ceremony and was incredibly helpful aiding us to plan the ceremony. We wanted something short, sweet and to the point and that’s what we got. We cannot say enough about our experience with Rev. Dr. Peter Hertzberg. He listened to what we wanted and delivered it above and beyond our hopes and expectations. He interacted with our guests and when there was a small hiccup with the music, he made a joke out of it where we all laughed and didn't give it another thought. He did so well, a guest approached him and asked him to officiant their wedding. He was early and made sure to greet the bride and groom before the ceremony and addressed any concerns they had. He stayed the whole day, blessed the food, and even danced a little. We have no complaints, only compliments

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
This depends on the venue and the breath of the ceremony. The minimum is $175 fee within a 35-mile radius of Waukesha, WI.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have a brief telephone discussion to review the request and the details of the event. Then set an in-person meeting to review details and make sure the ceremony details are tailored to the couple's wants and needs. During the pandemic, this can also be done by video chat, Apple Facetime, or Android Duo.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Ph.D. in Religious Education. Federally Legally Ordained in multiple belief systems and have successfully performed 100's of ceremonies across the nation.
