I'm an award-winning graphic designer and commercial photographer and videographer. I shoot large-scale and small-scale product and lifestyle photography as well as headshots, model portfolios, etc.

My graphic design work often goes hand in hand with my photography. My video productions are often used to promote businesses over the internet.

My clients range from furniture manufacturers, to medicine manufacturers, to commercial cleaning firms. I travel great distances and can set up a studio (when needed) in virtually any location.

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Keep an eye on the style and quality of the photographer you are looking for. My work is the highest quality possible with a focus on how the photo will be used to generate sales.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Most photographers don't have a clue what light is. Only through good understanding of light can they make quality images. Your image is only as good as your photography.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. If the photography doesn't have a studio setup, then it is likely they don't understand how to use light. Ask the prospective photography how long they have been a pro. Cameras are cheap and easy to use these days and that only means that anyone can call themselves a photographer. Unfortunately the camera is only a tool and can only take great photos if it is in the right hands.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. What types of photos do you want or need?
What is the feeling that you want your audience to have when viewing your photos?
How will the photos be used (in print, web, video)?
What is your budget?
