Introduction: I've been in construction most of my adult life. I work part time for a local family-owned business, but that leaves me with a lot of idle time.
I'm a straight shooter. What you see is what you get. I have a big family and a big heart. As an 11-year Army veteran I'm used to working hard, operating within defined boundaries, and creatively improvising when needed.
I prefer not to use Thumbtack's "Instant Booking" but it is mandatory for pros. I prefer not to use it because oftentimes the booking comes with incomplete or misleading information, or sometimes the time just doesn't fit my schedule. I'm a professional, and as such I prefer not to waste your time by showing up for a service call without a reasonable understanding of what needs to be done so I can arrive with the right tools, materials, and enough time to complete the work. Through thumbtack you can still contact me. Or you can find me on "GEE-mail" as "myhandymanharry" if you get my meaning.
I promise to respect your property, your family, your time, and your dollars. I think I charge a fair price for my services, and I stand by my work.
I do a little bit of everything, but not licensed for any of it. If you want to pay top dollar for a licensed/bonded/insured person I am NOT your guy. If you have a small job, even just a couple hours and you want to get your money's worth, I'm your guy.
I do any sort of handyman job you can imagine. A good rule of thumb is that if Home Depot carries it, I can install/repair it. Light plumbing/electrical, roofing, drywall, painting, etc.
No job is too small or too dirty. Virtual estimates are free, but if I have to travel to your home to assess the situation I'll charge $60/hr for my time there and one-way travel time from Harpers Ferry. Typically I'll waive the estimate fee if hired.
God bless!
