Just had a "senior shoot" for my son in Harpers Ferry, WV. Valerie was amazing. My son is very shy and was very stiff at first. Valerie was able to get him to open up to the camera. She took alot of time and used multiple locations in this very scenic area. I have only seen one "teaser" which was amazing, it really captured my son. She also included my daughter in the shoot which was great to have pics of them both together. She multiple scenary and outfit changes. We all felt relaxed and not "rushed" at all like I have experienced in the past. Valerie's work is very artful and creative. I would definately use her again and recommend her to others. She will also be doing some "sports" shots of my son in the coming week. We had alot of fun and can't wait to do it again! I would definately use her if and when my daughter gets married. :)

Valerie is wonderful; she is kind, professional, and punctual. She did an amazing job capturing my son's baptism at the church and the reception/celebration. I am very pleased with the photos and cant wait to see the albums. I highly recommend Valerie and look forward to having her at our future family events.

What types of customers have you worked with?
Outdoor family sessions and senior portraits are great fun for us at Beyond The Lens Photography and they tend to be the ones that we do the most. We also love love love the newborn sessions! At the studio or on location we are always so excited to capture the real life moments of our clients!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look through the portfolio and website of the photographers that you're interested in. Make sure that they are going to fit your style and taste. Even if a photographer is a great one, they may not fit with what you had in mind. Don't choose one and then expect them to change their shooting style. You would both end up being disappointed.
