- What types of customers have you worked with?
In the past few weeks I have completed 3 new landscapes. I inserted mulch, flowers and stone work for these 3 customers. I have also mowed and weed eating their lawns. I offer mowing on a weekly and bi-weekly basis. I offer 10% percent off to new customers for all related work except for mowing. I also offer a referral program. If you refer a new customer for my business I will mow your lawn for free two times. This is only offerred to customers who are a yearly mowing customer.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Every customer is different. So customers want certain kinds of flowers and mulch. But most customers tell me to just do whatever I think looks the best and do my thing proffesionally anyway I want. I suggest before you go out and buy your own flowers, rocks or mulch, talk to your landscaper first because we can get all the materials at a lower price. I had a customer that went out and bought 30 bags of mulch for $240.00 and I could have got the same amount of mulch for around $80.00.
