Introduction: I love to be outside on the river everyday helping people catch fish. Most people who come out here have no idea what to expect; its fun to see how excited they get once they finally get out on the water and experience the fly fishing out here.

My trips with Neil have always been incredible. He has always been able to put us on fish. He is very patient, nice, and just a fun guide to be out on the water with. The best guide in Jackson, hands down. Would recommend to anyone

I floated the Snake River with Neil and had an excellent time! He might know more about trout fishing than anyone I have ever met. He as a sixth sense about it. During our fishing Neil also pointed out some river otters, a moose, and an osprey (but we only got a picture of the moose!).

My son and I used Neil to guide us on a great day of fishing on the S. Fork. Neil was incredibly patient and taught dad and son the fine art of fly fishing on our float trip. We would both recommend Neil Chamberlin for his patience and skill as a fly fishing float trip guide. I will be back myself to get the grand slam that continues to elude me.
Fishing Trip Guide Services

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

The most common trips that we do are full day (8+hrs) and short day (6hrs) fishing trips in the Jackson Hole area. The most common rivers that we guide are the South Fork in Idaho, the Green River down by Pinedale, and the Snake River running through Grand Teton National Park.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Any perspective customer should make sure that the guide service they select is insured and licensed to guide in the local areas and not just the permit free areas. These permit specific areas receive much less pressure and fish much better than the permit free areas. We're fortunate enough to be permitted in Grand Teton National Park which gives us the ability to guide in a very restricted, scenic area.
