I am so grateful that I took the plunge and decided to work with Kavi Design Studio. My expertise is in the treatment room and the thought of trying to build my own website and branding was daunting, overwhelming and a bit scary. Kati and Victoria are so talented and professional. For the last two years I really wanted to redo my website. Bringing the website to the level of my branding and what my business has to offer my clients was super important to me. As a small business owner this is the first experience that new clients feel of what Nourishing Skin Coach offers. After spending about 8 months looking and talking to different firms, I honestly was left feeling very discouraged & disappointed. It was as if I had to choose quality or to not be able have all that I offer including e- commerce on the site. In order for me to have everything it was going to be extremely expensive. Then Kati and I started to have conversations about the website. She actually heard what I was saying. As if she could see my vision! When I finally asked for a quote I was taken back at how affordable it was going to be. I decided to go for it! Immediately a relationship was formed. The experience was enjoyable & simple. I was presented with incredible options. The final design took my breath away! Truly I could not be more pleased. I'd like to think I'm somewhat tech savvy so I tried to create a website for our small business on our own... soon into that project I realized that I had no clue what I was doing. Having Kavi Design Studio create our website was an amazing experience! It took so much stress off of us. The creative process was very much inclusive. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer monthly payment plans for most projects.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For branding or web design, I have clients complete a questionnaire and create a Pinterest board with their vision. We then spend about a week on the branding including mood board and creative direction, logo design, fonts, and color palettes. Then we move on to building the web site which takes 1-2 weeks. As a bonus, we offer launch graphics to share on social media and a video tutorial on how to easily make edits to the site.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have been in marketing for the last 10 years and have spent the last 5 years designing. We've taken tons of courses and are always continuing to learn, grow and stay up to date with trends.
