The movers arrived before the start time, and I really appreciate that! They responded to my initial request within minutes and kept great communication the whole process. Once they got there, we formed a game plan a game plan, and they were able to help me move all of my stuff while being professional, and being careful with all of my stuff that needed to be moved from my one bedroom apartment. they came with blankets and came with a dolly. They were nothing but amazing!

Overall, these guys worked hard and got our moving truck packed. But one was 30 minutes late and the other was 45 minutes late, and they didn’t seem super prepared… I’d noted that we were moving an upright piano in the thumbtack request, and confirmed that with Rodrique via text, but both movers who showed up seemed surprised. I’ve had professional piano movers before, and even bought blankets and ratchet straps to ratchet the piano into our Uhaul. But these guys didn’t seem to have piano moving experience and my husband had to spend 15+ minutes just showing them how to use the (standard) ratchet straps after we saw them trying to tie the piano into the truck with the straps in a knot… The payment process also felt weird. Rodrique had quoted us $100 per hour and it took them 2.5 hours from the time the second guy arrived, so I paid them $250 plus $50 tip. But then the guy who’d arrived first, complaining that he was owed an extra $12.75 since he showed up earlier… bizarre and awkward because he was sitting around making calls and waiting for the second guy to arrive when he first got there. I told them to sort it out themselves in allocating the tip, but I was not dealing with that. Like I said, they got the job done, and ultimately things were packed well—which is why I’m still giving 4 stars. But they were late, not totally prepared, and then tried to nickel and dime us on top of that. Will not hire again.
