I hired this young man one week ago because I like to give young entrepreneurs a chance when some won't. Unfortunately, I would not hire him again or recommend him. He did an okay job for what I hired him for. The wall that he painted wasn't done well in the corners and at the top. It looks a little ragged. I may have to get someone to come in behind him to make it look a bit more professional.
Next, he asked if he could clean his brushes and rollers using the hose on the side of the house. I said "of course." Well, when I went outside, I noticed he had used the hose to rinse his brushes and rollers close to the house and left paint stains on the concrete, siding, and my flower bed rocks. He didn't bother to rinse or try to clean it while it was wet, so now it is stained. I contacted him to let him know I saw the paint and his response was that he knew he had done it. I asked him to come back and get the stains out and he said he would. I haven't heard from him since that conversation and needless to say, the stains remain. I now have to buy something myself and remove the stains.
