Introduction: I have a fair amount of experience as I oversaw construction on a gut-renovation of a 6-family brownstone. I managed and hired my team, and also completed my own projects on the job site, including custom finishes. At the moment I am accepting smaller scaled jobs like light light maintenance and updates (caulking in and around kitchen/bath areas, hanging pictures, assemble (or move) any furniture, etc. ) I am courteous, professional and listen well. If I can't do your job, I will let you know up front or at the very least discuss with you any problems I might foresee and move forward only if I get approval. Happy to discuss any project you need doing around your house - I hope I can be of some help in the near future!

We asked Chris to paint our bathroom and he was a cut above. Arrived on time, polite and easy to work with. He is definitely better than other Thumbtackers we have worked with in the past.( For our project we went with an hourly rate because painting is so hard to estimate the time for.)

Chris helped us build furniture and do some other tasks around the house. He painted, hung pictures, and assembled IKEA furniture. He is incredibly professional, polite and efficient. I would recommend him for future work!

Depending on the project I change hourly or by project. The more information you provide, the more easily I can give a project quote.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask them to speak with me on the phone and send photos so I can get a good idea of the tools and equipment needed. The fewer the surprises the more efficient I can be.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been building and working on homes on teams since I was 15. (Initially it was just for fun) I have also gut renovated an 18th century brownstone more recently.
