Dear Trey G, You never hired us, you never spoke with me and this is such nonsense. We hope your move from Denton Texas to Shertz Texas is very successful. We have no idea who you are or why you would write a review when we have never spoken. You have never once picked up the phone and called me or reached out. I work 7 days a week to receive bogus reviews such as this. Your actions are totally ridiculous. Rose
Our experience working with Great Nation Moving was rather mixed. First, let me say that all our furniture arrived as expected and not damaged, which I would say is probably the most important thing. I haven't moved long distance before, so maybe some of what I was dissatisfied with was to be expected. We were not informed that our move would be contracted out to another company, US Movers. Some of the people we worked with were great. The supervisor who was packing our furniture, Michael (I think) was really good! All of the guys working at our house in Texas were good. The person with US Movers who wasn't great was the driver. I was told to check the numbers on our furniture with the inventory list when the furniture arrived. He would not allow me to do that. He constantly berated me until I finally quit, although the young man in charge of unloaded was perfectly happy to allow me to do this! The driver was rude and pushy and pushed for my husband to give him a good rating, until my husband gave in. The lady that I dealt with in Washington, Rose Carole, was also not exactly honest with me. She promised to contact us the week ahead of our move, and didn't do this until we began contacting her. She also assured me that our total bill would not go above a certain figure, and it was a full $2200 above that amount. I'm sure that the total is not easy to predict but I felt that the estimate could have been a lot closer to the actual amount. We were also told by her that we would not have to unload our dresser drawers, but when the guys were packing us, they insisted upon unloading some of them, and just dumping them into boxes. I would have preferred to have known this upfront so I could pack them myself.May 15, 2018Verified
