About this pro
Chris was literally amazing to work with. He was very professional, funny, and got our crowd dancing. He kept people on the dance floor from the first dance to the last, which was pretty late at 1130 pm! He was respectful of all our wishes and just a nice guy in general. Super recommend him!Aug 11, 2018
Chris was the DJ for our 25th anniversary party on new years eve! He was the ultimate professional and made the party truly memorable. If there were a ten star rating, I would give him 10 stars!Jan 2, 2018Verified
Chris was very easy to work with. He answered all my questions in a timely manner. Everyone at the party loved him. He performed guitar with Dave and then DJ’ed the rest of the evening. Would hire him again in a second. Thank you for a wonderful holiday party!Dec 14, 2017Verified
Just started my journey, but Chris has already impressed us both. He was very prompt in his communication, professional to speak with, and offers several services, so very convenient as well! Price was the best, so I can’t wait to see how this is going to turn out! Very positive so far, thanks Chris!Nov 10, 2017Verified
Chris was extremely professional, pleasant and in tune with the needs of the crowd. He was accommodating with no request denied and I would not hesitate to hire him for future events.May 28, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? With so many event options pricing can vary greatly. For weddings I have 3 standard packages but also have options in case the customer wants to add something onto their standard package, like a guitar duo for social hour. For photo booths a customer may want to add on a memory album or props.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Typically first contact is either be by phone or email. If it's a more complex event (like a wedding) I will often meet the client(s) in person or even with Skype or Facetime. This works especially well with out of town customers.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started as a musician, studying guitar and bass in college. That transitioned into being an entertainer as well as an MC with many different bands and then finally moved into being a DJ in 2003. Chris Hamel Productions has been in business for over 14 years.
