- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
With so many event options pricing can vary greatly. For weddings I have 3 standard packages but also have options in case the customer wants to add something onto their standard package, like a guitar duo for social hour. For photo booths a customer may want to add on a memory album or props.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically first contact is either be by phone or email. If it's a more complex event (like a wedding) I will often meet the client(s) in person or even with Skype or Facetime. This works especially well with out of town customers.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started as a musician, studying guitar and bass in college. That transitioned into being an entertainer as well as an MC with many different bands and then finally moved into being a DJ in 2003. Chris Hamel Productions has been in business for over 14 years.
