Introduction: ARM Studios82 provides personalized lessons for every student. This is not your average run of the mill studio. Theory is taught with practical application. No more just staring at number and reading text books. You will learn to apply theory and make it work for you as you grow in your craft. I believe in a stress free environment. I do not not rush lessons and there is never homework due every week. We will spend as much time with any part as needed until you are ready to move on, I have found that if you are not enjoying what you are doing, you will never allow yourself to learn it. Music is suppose to be fun, so I try my very best to make sure that all of my students enjoy their time with me and with the instrument they are learning to play. This is also a recording studio where I can take your music to the next level! I absolutely love the world of music. Being able to share my knowledge and passion with others and seeing that same excitement with them brings me the most satisfaction.

I needed to hire a substitute piano teacher to run my piano studio for a week. Scott Ring responded immediately and my students thoroughly enjoyed his expertise. He was punctual and very knowledgeable. I have also been to his Studio and he has the latest technology and is up-to-date on his teaching methods I highly recommend him as a teacher. I’m not very sure what value and punctuality means but it must mean something good and Scott is a really good teacher, we have fun while lessons, and he’s really gets me motivated to learn new things on the guitar.

Scott is a consummate professional and a fantastic teacher. My daughter has been given a customized learning plan and I have really seen her flourish. He is avid about having fun and it shows! His equipment is cutting edge and ever growing. Flexible, easy going, and excellent at teaching music.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I only charge $20 an hour. 4 lessons, 1per week for a total of $80 per month. I accept payments on the first lesson of the month. If the month has a total of 5 weeks, the fifth lesson is optional and at no addition charge. I have 3 learning stations that help move you through the world of music. Of course one on one instruction is included in the hour. For recordings, $30 an hour with a 2hr minimum. Payment due before service.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like welcome all potential student or artists to come in and see the studio. Have a sit down with me and I will walk you through the workstation I have. It makes answering any questions you may have easier and it allows you think about what you are looking for and what you wish to gain from 5e lessons .
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 20+ years of experience in music. I have had students learning under My tutelage on and off for 15 years. I have many hours in the studio and with the recent completion of my Audio Engineering certificate from Spokane Falls Community College, I am up and running with my own recording studio.
