FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a flat rate of $100.00. This pricing includes transportation to wherever the client lives (within the bay area), and the time spent consulting the wardrobe and shopping.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to first set a consultation to get to know the client and identify the overall look we're trying to achieve. Then if the client is interested, I will help them go through their closet and sift through what their favorite, and least favorite items are in their current wardrobe and how to style things that they already have to make them feel new again! Finally the shopping! We'll go to local retailers depending on the clients budget and I'll pull various looks and bring them directly to the client in the fitting room. Once we're in the fitting room we'll try different options, and if there's something he or she loves I'll bring more items with similar fit/color. If there are items the client hates, I'll take it away and never bring anything remotely similar back to the fitting room. I like the overall experience to be positive, fun and casual all while gaining a new sense of confidence and style!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in luxury retail for over 5 years as a stylist and lead sales person. During this time I have styled men and woman of all ages and body types, providing them with a personalized shopping experience and setting them up with a new look that they I also attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco. These experiences made me knowledgable about the fashion industry, and how to identify the right fit and style for each individual l I work with. I also taught a course in fashion design to young fashionistas at camp Galileo for the past four years.
