FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try and keep my prices as low as possible. Because I am a solo operation, I can keep them lower than larger companies. Ultimately, I want everybody to look and feel good in their clothes so I am willing to work with whatever budget, within reason, that a client has.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once contact has been established, we have a brief meeting to discuss particular needs. Depending on the services needed the client should expect a completed job in 2-6 weeks. For alterations and custom clothing on site, the client should expect to come in for 1-3 fittings before taking their product home. Alterations and custom clothing online should expect a few video or voice meetings for colaboration and progress upsates, woth product being mailed or hand delivered within the agreed upon timeline. If we're working together online, the client should expect product samples mailed quickly after contact, and a finished product in 2-4 weeks depending on needs. We work off the clients schedule and timeline. Wardrobe consultations can be done as quickly or as slowly as the client wishes. We work as personal shopper on the client's behalf and alterations to clothing is included in the price. We will meet in person or online as frequently as the client needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years experience in alterations and clothing design. I have trained with several professionals throughout my travels as a young woman and recently as a military spouse.
