Patient with owners as well as dogs! We saw improvement in the first lesson!May 5, 2017Verified
We've just started our training sessions with Georgette, and, I'm VERY happy with her, so far! All dog trainers do things differently / have different philosophies. As I'm learning her philosophy, I have had questions. Even before our first training session, but, after the initial consultation, I had several questions. She answered them all very quickly, without any defensiveness or irritation. She is incredibly open and happy to discuss any concerns. She made it clear that I could call her, and we could discuss it, further. When she came to my house, she talked to me, further, and made sure I felt good about the direction. She even brought me literature to read to help me better understand her methods. She took a lot of time to really listen to my specific needs, concerns, and goals for training, and, even in the first session, demonstrated how we will accomplish those goals. She is more than willing to come to my office, house, church - every environment where my dogs may need a little help. My dogs REALLY like her, and, she truly seems to like them, a lot, too! I am very optimistic for our future training sessions (and, she's super sweet, so, it makes it that much more fun!)Feb 7, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My standard price is $125 + tax for the initial consultation. Each session after drops to $95 + tax. However, if you purchase a six or eight- pack of sessions, the prices are $520 and $670 respectively, + tax and you get a leash and training pouch.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I always start with the initial consultation to make sure we are a good fit. Basic information is gathered during the session and one or two new behaviors are taught to the dog. Most dogs learn something the very first session that is easy to replicate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I completed an intense six month course from the Karen Pryor Academy. I learned online and practiced in person during four 2-day workshops. To keep my certification, I must complete a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education every year. I also completed a course in January of 2017 called Puppy Start Right also from the Karen Pryor Academy.
