Shannon is clever, creative and fun to work with. She puts you at ease and has great suggestions for poses. She gives each session her all and brings with her a passion for making great shots. I am really happy with all my photographs from her.Jul 20, 2017
The photographer made me feel comfortable during the photo shoot. She asked how i was doing. She had lots of great ideas on different poses and had the day planed ahead of time so we didnt waste time deciding what to do next. The pictures turned out amazing! I loved working with her!Jul 13, 2017

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When the client contacts me about a shoot, I ensure the date is available, gather contact information, and answer any pressing questions they may have. I email a form to gather details for weddings and boudoir shoots. * For weddings, I will arrive at least an hour prior to our planned start to assess the location and lighting. I will interact with and direct your guests throughout the day as needed to ensure your "must have shots" list is completed and I will add in several others to ensure diversity - traditional portrait for grandma along with fine art for your home and pictures of all the details to ensure your album is complete. * Boudoir shoots: I will have a rough plan of the flow for your shoot before you arrive. We will go through the items you brought and get a sense of what we want to use. You may enjoy a drink during this time to help you relax and feel more comfortable. I will start with make-up application for the softer look you selected, and then I will coach and cheerlead you through several poses. For the Gold Package, we will take a short break for a snack and then continue by creating a bolder makeup look. We will shoot for another hour or so. I recommend this package because your confidence and comfort level will increase exponentially as our time together progresses so the most stunning images are usually taken later in the shoot. Additionally, you'll love showing off your softer feminine side along with your bolder dramatically beautiful side. * Children and family sessions are less formally planned through a conversation. * Timeliness is important to me. I will try to have your shoot edited within a couple days. Once completed, I will contact you to view your photos. I include up to 15 minutes of additional editing upon request, and $1/min after the first 15 minutes. * Once you make your first order, you will be able to download web-sized images of your entire shoot.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I grew up at a photography studio where my dad was the head photographer, but I initially chose a career in military medicine. After shooting a Christmas party for my squadron in 2014, I realized that I wanted to pursue my talent as a photographer. I was hired for my first boudoir shoot a couple months later. When she returned to the studio to view her portraits, she was in tears by the third image, overcome with how beautiful she was - and I was hooked! I am separating from the Air Force and moving to Albuquerque to make my work through Chandelier Studio my career focus.
