Introduction: ZR Landscaping & Grading has been in operation over 8 years now, with the founder/owner coming from many more years experience within a separate family business encompassing landscape installation as well as nursery plant growing. ZR Landscaping is fortunate to have a large roster of skilled employees from several fields of work. From landscape installation, hardscape patios and fireplaces, water features, grading & drainage, concrete work and more, we can handle almost anything you need. We can offer a wide variety of services, free estimates, and creative inspiration to make your outdoor space your favorite thing about your home. Zack and his team are amazing. We needed a job turned around quickly and they went above and beyond to fix the drainage issue and ensure the landscaping looked better than they found it. They are on time, super professional and really nice people. Highly recommended!

Installed a patio (about 300 square feet) and small retaining walls and minor excavation work to better accommodate drainage away from the house. My experience was this: Supervisors and crew were good to work with - professional, hard working, and conscientious about making sure the work was done properly. They were there when they said they would be there and the project was completed as scheduled.

Zack and his team did a superb job on two projects for us: they regraded our driveway and put down fresh gravel, and landscaped several very overgrown areas with river stone, landscape fabric, mulch, and new shrubs. Everything looks excellent and was done over just a few days at a very reasonable cost.

Zack was very responsive, professional, and polite. We both realized the job was bigger than originally bid and he was concerned with making sure we were happy. Zack was also available for extra questions or concerns during the project, and even mentioned he would stop by and check on the seed growth after he was finished. We originally thought it was just installing a new yard and Zack thought it would be simple as well; however, it became much more due to the tree roots and stumps we didn't know were hidden under the existing grass/dirt. In the end, the final price was more than the original bid and we had to compromise on some things in order to stay close to our budget. This job was a learning experience for everyone and Zack hung in there with us! We are looking forward to enjoying our beautiful lawn which is coming in nicely! Thank you Zack! I tried to load before and after pictures several times, but it didn't work.

Yes Every job is different and unique. some jobs need more materials and some need less. This is usually up to the owner to make the decision on what he/she wants done. I then take his/her ideas make them happen.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with the client at the job and go over all the details at they're convenience.I listen very carefully to each clients requests and visions for the job or project they to design and build. I then provide the client with a detailed assessment of how long and what materials, the job will need.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a associates degree, and have worked along side some of the most talented landscaping designers and contractor in my 12 years , who have mentored me.
