Delores walked in and IMMEDIATELY started working with Willow. She is VERY knowledgeable and shared some good info as to why she uses the methods she does and why it works best in respect to dogs instincts. We like working with her and Willow LOVES working with her!Jan 9, 2018Verified
It's only been two days since our in-home training session but we're already starting to notice positive changes in our puppy based on tips Dolores gave us. Very easy to schedule a session and she gave us plenty of pointers and readings to help continue our training at home.Nov 28, 2017Verified
She showed up a couple minutes early and immediately jumped into the training. She helped my girlfriend and I understand the possible reasons as to why our dog does what he does. Her instruction was easy to follow, and she also explained why she was training him in this specific fashion. We are extremely happy with everything! He has had an incredible change already! And it's still the first day!Sep 30, 2017Verified
I just got my first puppy and Dolores has been a huge help! She's very knowledgeable and very easy to work with. She's very punctual and she's always willing to help with any of my questions or concerns. I would highly recommend her!Aug 2, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Typically fees are $125 for one hour sessions and discounted packages are available. The number of sessions that would be required is based on the individual dog and / or behavior issue. Some issues can be resolved in as little as one lesson while others may need to more work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Our initial consultation lasts 90 minutes. During this time, we work together to create a training plan and address the behavior issues that are most important to you .
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I'm a certified professional dog trainer and worked 10 years in my local animal shelter. I also volunteer for 2 rescue groups. I was also a high school teacher so I'm competent at explaining things and making learning easy for dogs and humans. As a member of APDT, I attend many conferences throughout the year for continuing education. I am therefor up-to-date on new training approaches.
