Introduction: Vicki Golding is a vocalist and vocal coach with over 25 years experience. Originally from Australia, she has a Bachelor of Music degree, and has been a lead vocalist in Military Bands (Active and Reserve) since 1990, both in Australia and US. She is the Choir Master and Vocal Coach for the American Military Spouses Choir, and has been the Vocal Coach for the US Army Soldier Show. Due to her broad range of experience, Vicki is very knowledgeable about vocal health and maintenance, and how to sing modern pop, rock, and contemporary styles, without doing damage to the vocal chords. Also, as a highly experienced performer, she has exceptional knowledge of stylistic choices, performance movement, and performance in general. Vicki would prefer to teach adults and High School age children with regards to vocal coaching. However, she can teach beginner Piano lessons to all ages. "I love it when a student has an "a-ha!" moment! When they realize that by changing and focusing on a particular technique, it can completely transform their sound. Also just seeing and hearing students grow in confidence as well as musical ability is very rewarding. "

Vicki is a well-seasoned and experienced singer and vocal coach. Her list of performances and arrangements proves her talent. She helped me while on America's Got Talent as well as during several other televised and corporate performances. She can sing all parts in any vocal range and help you better understand them. Vicki has an amazing gift for music composition and teaching. I've had the blessing to be in a professional choir where Vicki serves as our director as well as the arranger for all of our choir parts. As we are a choir of up to 50 people, this is not an easy task. While Vicki is incredibly professional, she is able to balance her responsibilities with a wonderful sense of humor and fun. She inspires us to reach our highest potential.

First, I want to find out why they want lessons, and what their goals are. Then, I'll need to find out what, if any musical experience or training they have. From there, I'll listen to what they can do, and determine the best path forward.
