- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We usually suggest the Client start with our Design Counsel Service which is a two hour service geared to the homebuyer, realtor,developer or homeowner contemplating a new addition or renovations to their property . In this first meeting the Architect will address issues of design feasibility, costs, timelines, zoning and building code requirements. In addition to preliminary concept sketches the Architect will also cover preliminary construction budgets to assist the client in making the decision to proceed Note ..we have completed over 300 Additions, renovations and or adaptive reuse projects
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Start with the initial Design Counsel Service $250 fee usually depends on site location Once the Architect is selected we complete a Design Agreement with a fixed fee...Services are tailored to meet the client needs ranging from concept design, Schematic design, Construction Permit drawings, feasibility studies, financial and pro forma development and cost estimates in addition to contractor selection
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The architect is a member of the American Institute of Architects, AIA licensed in Virginia, Maryland, and New Jersey, and NCARB Certified by National Counsel Of Architectural Registration Boards. In addition we have been featured on HGTV multiple times, and have served on local Historic Preservation Boards and Boards of Zoning Appeals . Our 30 plus years of experience allows us to assist our clients and investors by creating thoughtful award winning designs that enhance their lifestyles .
