I hired KST by K. Symone to assist me with piecing together the clothing that I have in my closet. She came to my home and given the clothing in my closet, she created several outfits. These outfits range from clothing to wear on special occasions, such as date night to work wear. I have pieces in my closet that I purchased and would never wear because I either, 1) thought the clothing item didn’t fit or 2) I didn’t know what to wear with the clothing item. I found myself wearing the same items over and over, and would buy clothes on a weekly basis— all because I felt I didn’t “have enough clothes.” KST not only pieced the clothing together, but also taught me how to do it on my own. Now, whenever I have a question about fashion, I seek out KST by K. Symone. This fashion consultancy is the real deal and I’ll continue to use the services, without a doubt!

Regardless of your location, and occasion, Kaila works to ensure your styling needs are met. I had the pleasure of working with Kaila remotely. She was super responsive and knew which questions to ask to get me styled and ready for my event. I went to her in shambles, I mean a pure fashion travesty. I was referred, by my sister, to KST by K. Symone. After reviewing KST by K. Symone’s online portfolio, I noticed that KST plays with colors, patterns and is very progressive in fashion and isn’t scared to be adventurous with clothing. I was a bit skeptical because my wardrobe has a lot of neutral colors. So, I sought out KST by K. Symone for styling advice only for my birthday outfit. I had already picked out an outfit: low rise overalls with a white, belled sleeved shirt. She informed me that the outfit does go together and she even advised me on how to accessorize the outfit with a pop of color. Overall, I was extremely happy with my consultation and I fell more in love with my birthday outfit! Thanks, KST by K. Symone for your service and for making my birthday memorable. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
KST by K. Symone will send each client a package list and each package will have an associated price. The base consulting fee will be required to secure the appointment. Following the second consultation, the client will be required to pay the remaining balance. If the client refers a friend, the client receives a reduced price for their next package.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
KST by K. Symone provides to each client an initial consultation to obtain information regarding the occasion for which styling is needed. The client can then choose to have KST by K. Symone provide a second consultation regarding clothing in their wardrobe. If the client selects this option, KST by K. Symone will work with the client at their home or remotely to sculpt outfits given the pieces in their existing wardrobe. The client can also elect to have KST by K. Symone find an outfit or outfits on behalf of the client. In this case, KST by K. Symone will obtain clothing that will be presented to the client during the second consultation in the form of a formal fitting. The client will then select and pay for the piece(s) desired to be kept. At the end of the experience, KST by K. Symone will administer a survey to each client requesting information regarding their packaged experience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Kaila Symone has a fashion mentor who is a published, magazine stylist. KST by K. Symone has worked closely with her mentor over the several years to learn the ins-and-outs of the fashion industry. KST by K. Symone is also in the process of securing a Personal Stylist and Image Consultant license.
