Introduction: I am a Professional Ballroom and Latin Dance Instructor with 20 years of dance experience and a passion for teaching. I have a unique specialty working with and preparing wedding couples for their first dance.
However, as a trained and experienced dancer, I teach group classes for parties and events, couples and married folk of all ages looking for a hobby, singles (ladies and gentlemen) looking to overcome any awkward woes about learning to dance before going social, anyone can learn the skill of dancing!
I love to teach, I love to dance, and I enjoy working with people in helping them to learn.

During the Winter of 2017 my husband and I were in the process of planning our wedding and we wanted to impress our friends and family with a great wedding dance.
I researched multiple dance studio's, but they were to expensive and it didn't fit my husband and I schedule.
So, I turned to family for their help. After a couple of weeks Chynna Banks emailed me informing me she was referred by one of my family members.
Since then, Chynna and I have been communicating about the perfect location where we wanted to practice. She also gave me information about her skill sets and asked me what form of dance I was interested in learning. She put together a lesson plan and a payment plan.

I wanted to learn to dance in order to be more social and mingle. I choose BlacKatz Jam because i heard what an EXCELLENT instructor Chyna is. And she certainly is!! She's engaged and excited about teaching, knows ALL the moves, and had me dancing in real dance shoes from the very beginning. Now i go dancing at least once a week!!! Learning to dance with Chyna was the best training i could have imagined. I've now moved on from salsa to ballroom and can't wait to add that to my outings! If you really want to learn the moves, understand the music and be comfortable in your shoes, give BlacKatz a try. She really is wonderful!!
