Introduction: Jamie Jaubert earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling at Texas State University. Jamie is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPCS) and a Certified Nutrition and Wellness Consultant. She also has certifications in early childhood, special education, and school counseling.
Jamie enjoys working with couples in the areas of conflict resolution, rebuilding trust, establishing deeper connection, premarital counseling and intimacy. She also specializes in working with adults who struggle with anxiety, depression and other emotional challenges.
Jamie was drawn to the counseling field after teaching in an inner city, self-contained classroom, for children who experience emotional disabilities. She quickly learned the importance of connection, empathy, and outside-the-box problem-solving skills. She appreciates the value of positive relationships between parents and the school setting. Her counseling style is relational, encouraging and practical.
Jamie has several years of experience in a private practice setting, as a LPC & as a certified Nutrition and Wellness Consultant.
In the public school setting, Jamie has served as a regular education & special education teacher, elementary & secondary school counselor, a parent educator, and a special education counselor. Her goal is to partner with clients to provide a honest, direct, and loving experience, as she guides them towards forward movement.
Jamie has been married to her husband, Jimmy Jaubert, for almost 15 years. They have three children, Mason, Ellie and Evan.
