FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a variety of services that can be combined into a custom package to meet the needs of each property. Add twilight images, time lapse footage, video, virtual flyovers, etc., as needed to attract buyers and future listings, and delight the homeowner.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My services are highly customized to the needs of each client and property, so we'll start with discussion of the purpose of the images, such as use in the MLS, for commercial advertising, remote investors, etc. We'll discuss what's driving a change in service providers, what an ideal relationship would be, an collaborate on what an ideal offering would contain. This process can be quick, but is very important to determining if we are good match. For each property, I like to talk with the agent and/or owner/manager about what makes the property special and how it will be marketed. For example, if the agent will be promoting a home as a "southern charmer", I'll spend some extra time highlighting the front porch and/or staging a vignette with rocking chairs, etc.,
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
There are multiple elements in my background that have prepared me for this line of work. I've had a passion for photography and architecture since childhood, and studied art and architecture at Georgia Tech while pursuing a degree in business. I went on to have a nearly 20 year career in marketing at a Fortune 20 company, focused on customer loyalty/retention and marketing ROI. I am passionate about delighting my customers and building long term relationships, and understand the challenges agents and homeowners face in building a profitable marketing plan. I am now dedicated to photography and tutoring full-time, and invest in continuing education through courses taught by architectural photography giants like Mike Kelley and Scott Hargis, training from KelbyOne (formerly the National Association of Photoshop Professionals), a professional mentorship, and peer relationships through membership in the Professional Photograghers of America (PPA) and Real Estate Photographers of America and International (REPAI).
