Painters had gotten solid-color stain for the house on the aggregate pavement of the front porch and front walkway. The painters had power-washed the pavement to remove the stain, but the result was very irregular in color and appearance, with some stain remaining in places, and the seal removed in places and remaining in other places. Cory and his assistants at Ruhle Concrete had to experiment with several different products to find a good solution for the problem, and at one point to remove a caulking product that did not look good between concrete slabs. But Cory kept at the job until we were satisfied, and was always professional and responsive. He knew a lot about concrete. We asked him to do a second job, straightening a mailbox cedar post set in cement and then installing a hollow new mail post over it and attaching the mailbox, jobs which required making the old cedar post fit. He and his assistant did a beautiful job on that.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every job is unique. The level of difficulty, and the time associated with removal and installation are the main factors that determine the price of each job.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After we are contacted, we proceed in setting up a time to meet with the customer in order to put a face to the name, and also to view the job they need done in it's entirety. It's really challenging to give an accurate quote over the phone, hence the reason for the site visit. We will give the customer a written and signed quote once the job is viewed and quoted.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
- 10 + years of concrete, stone, and masonry work ( includes both civilian and military experience) - Bachelors Degree in Occupational Safety (BS)
