Marixa has covered multiple milestones in my life. She's done both my high school and college senior portraits; conceptual birthday sessions; engagement shots and wedding photos. Recently she did my maternity pictures at the beach with my husband and then more documentary style photos while I was doing my regular swim at the pool. Of course she did my baby's newborn session! She took me and my girlfriends pictures on a hot day. She got us through the shoot like a well oiled machine and we were out of the hot sun in no time. My girlfriend was absolutely happy with how the pictures turned out and I was happy with the price. I would recommend her highly to everyone.

My photo shoot sessions with Marixa was wonderful! I was nervous because I did not know what to wear or how to style myself and she was able to help me out with a few suggestions and ideas. Before my shoot, she mentioned that I need to wear boots due to damp grass and mud, it's the little things like that which makes me appreciate photographers like her. I'm not used to posing for photos but she was able to direct me and make feel at ease so that I would relax a look a little more natural. The session did not take long and she was able to get great shots with very little sun left. I love her shooting style and the pictures turned out amazing!

I have collections you can choose from, oriented at getting you mounted quality prints. I'd be happy to discuss your needs and customize a photo collection for you.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like speaking to customers on the phone or meet in person. It has become very rare to do business face to face, I value being able to get to know your story, to be able to create meaningful photos.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self taught photographer. 11 years of photographing as a hobby 3 years of photographing as a business 3 years of experience in wedding photography. I will be attending photography training at Imaging USA January 2017.
