FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Like I said previously, what I quote is what I charge. However, to give you some idea I will break it down best I can. Small jobs, that only take a few hours, are quoted at the rate of $70 per hour labor for the expected time. If I think a job is going to take 3 hours so in the quote I put labor will be $210 and it ends up talking us the whole day, you still pay $210. Larger jobs it is hard to say, depending on the crew I need and other factors such as time, insurance and the permits required.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Most of the time the customer contacts me one way or another to setup a time for me to come see and talk with them about the work that needs to be done. Then I come over and find out exactly what you need and then go and develop a plan of attack on the project. Later that day or the next, I will bring you a sheet that states the work to be done and the cost of it. The price I quote you is set. What I quote is what you pay. If it costs me more to do the work I agreed to do in the quote, I eat that cost.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education does not apply much here, but at the same time applies to everything I do in life. I have a Bachelors of Science in Religion with a minor in Biblical Studies. Most of what I do for you I learned by watching others work and being taught on projects. I have taken classes in landscaping, computer drafting and design, and to many other things to list here. What is more important, in my opinion, then the classes I have taken or the time spent learning a trade is how much I value your time and the trust you have put in me and my company. We dont stop until it is done right.
