Dave and his crew arrived on time to move my 3 bedroom duplex to a 3 bedroom home 25 miles away. Some of my belongings and furniture were staying behind to be donated, so I quickly showed them which items were being moved and which were not, then I got out of the way and waited outside in my car. I had most of the furniture taken apart beforehand and most of my boxed items centrally located. The guys took care of everything, there was no confusion at all, and they moved quickly. If they felt something should be shrink wrapped or bubble wrapped and I hadn't done it, they quickly wrapped it up before putting it in the truck. Upon delivering our furniture and belongings to our new home, they brought everything in expeditiously and then assembled our dismantled furniture without being asked. When my extra couch unexpectedly did not fit in the doorway, they stored put down cardboard and stored it as carefully in my garage as they could. The entire move took about 3.5 hours, including multiple trips up and down stairs for the guys. Would certainly recommend them.

Starting the review in reverse I can highly recommend Dave and his team at Advantage. We recently sold our 4 BR colonial home and moved into a 2 br /2bath apartment. Dave and his team even at the booking were very flexible since we were unsure of the closing time due to mortgage commitment issues. They arrived on time when we had it finally set. They carefully wrapped all of the furniture and pictures. They moved everything as you would expect like a puzzle to fit it all into the truck. Importantly they moved some large pieces through some smaller hallways and stairs without a scratch to the furniture or walls. They unpacked carefully and helped us set up the apartment and a separate storage garage. The price was exactly as quoted with no surprises.

Very late (40 min) and did not pick up my television despite my requesting it. They also charged me the same amount as they would have if they did in fact move the tv. The manager was incredibly rude from the very beginning. The other two gentlemen were lovely, though no one apologized for being nearly an hour late.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
most local moves are by the hour we have a standard hourly rate for different size crews For our out of town moves or long distance we will give you an estimate on the information you provide and we gather. Packing services are available and we can also provide you with a price for that. If moving long distance we have a special for packing services (ask for details).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Gathering as much information as possible. This will make the customer feel more at ease about knowing what the cost of there move is going to be and what time is going to work for them as well as us.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been on a moving truck since I was 14 years old. I learned how to do things the right way. I have had my CDL license for 30 years and have seen and moved it all. I also have been on every part of the job so I know the ins and outs of the moving industry
