Mr. Louies is a very patient artist and accommodating to the customer's requests. My original mural ( with the polar bear ) was over 20 years old, faded, and previous work wasn't what I wanted. I searched the Internet and found a few artists but Mr. Louies provided the best samples, response, and pricing to fit my budget. It was important to NOT get a Monet style painting and needed it to be as close to life-like as possible. I provided pictures and a concept mural. My concept wasn't to scale and some of the pictures were not good quality so we made some slight changes to subjects and coloring. We worked out a schedule to paint the 9 foot by 40 foot mural which took about 50 to 60 hours to complete over a one month period. I provided B/Moore acrylic Aura exterior paint semi gloss to make the colors brighter. Problem is it goes on light and darkens so there were some challenges. My favorite is the octopus, turtles, and brain coral with such color and detail, they look like they could pop right out of the painting. I think you'd like Mr. Louies attention to detail and flexibility. Be sure to have pictures or subjects exactly the way you want them painted. Mr. Louies is open to your comments and suggestions. He performed the painting himself which I preferred. As you can see from my concept to the final product, there were some nice changes which he even recommended. Our backyard is definitely work in progress but this new mural makes it so much better to be in. If you need a mural or painting done, review the work below and on his website and compare it to other muralists. I think you'll find Mr. Louies provides you that level of experience needed in your next project.
