At first I thought I could get things together myself, but I soon realized getting together an awesome wedding is a full time job! Aundrea took me on as a client and took a HUGE weight off my shoulders! She is so sweet and kind and took over immediately. You name it, she was in line with EVERYTHING, that makes a wedding “storybook” like my friend called it. The venue, the food, the photographer, the drinks, the bartender, the flowers, the decor of the venue in the colors we chose, the invites, the thank you notes, the seating cards, organizing the ceremony itself with the officiate, the timing of the ceremony and the music of the ceremony, the wedding parting gifts to the guests, decorating my house for the after party, OH MY GOSH, have I forgotten anything! The JP design team was a fantastic team to work with. Aundrea was able to execute my vision perfectly. She and her team took the time to understand my vision and style and worked very closely with me to deliver exactly what I wanted, while still staying within my budget. They were responsive, detail oriented, professional and graceful throughout the whole process and the food was fantastic. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?We pride ourselves on being custom to the client, but we do have packages available for those that need that a little help deciding what they really need vs. want.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We like to have our head event planner speak with the client via phone first to get a sense of their needs. Based on that conversation, they are assigned to a planner that she feels has the best personality match with the client and the real work begins. For Catering: Big City Service with Full Southern Charm We do things a little differently, let me tell you a little about it. Our customizations offer wide range of selections to allow you to customize your menu. You provide us with a budget for catering and wee present you with Three menus options that fit within that budget (Silver, Gold, Platinum). This gives you absolute control over your food budget and ensures that you get exactly what you would like. The menus will be interchangeable, so if you see something on one menu that you would like on another, then we can move things around and adjust the pricing accordingly. For those couples who want a little extra, we do have Premier Wedding Package offerings as well. These packages were put together based on customer request and input. It gives you the option to still customize but with pre-planned menu options. These packages also include linens, flatware and serve ware.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Our head event planner was trained by The New York Institute of Art and Design and has also studied under renowned celebrity planner Preston Bailey. She also has advanced degrees in Psychology and Business, so she is well versed in all aspects of wedding/event planning. Our catering manager received her culinary degree from The Art Institute - Nashville and has worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years. We have a very diverse staff that are more than qualified to handle anything thrown their way.
