FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
This depends on the project. For editing or proofreading, I like to read through the project first to get the overall feel of the work. Then, I go back through and do the more detailed editing process. I prefer to use Word with Track Changes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was first published eighteen years ago. Since then I have taken classes from professional, taught classes, and deepened my understanding of the writing/editing process. I am now an author and an editor for Heritage Beacon Fiction Publishing.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After years of being a published writer, and critiquing/editing chapters for other writers, I had the opportunity to work with a publishing house as an editor. I put my years of experience to work, but continue to hone my craft as I go.
