FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I actually took a look at trying to hire a resume preparer for myself personally, and found out a few things that I was not prepared to discover. The questions we all ask is, ‘What do professionally prepared resumes cost?’” Strangely, prices vary greatly, but what I have complied from different services around the web is an accurate reflection of the mid-point costs that I would have had to pay for a resume prepared by professionally credentialed and experienced resume writers. Entry Level Resumes – $400 (just for the resume!) This would be for students, new grads and Professionals with up to 3 years’ experience (Non-Management). Professional Resume – $550 (just for the resume!) This would be for persons in the need category of business Professionals with 3-10 years’ experience, not in management and not in IT or other Science/Technical careers Mid-Career Resume – $650 (just for the resume!) This would be for persons in the need category of Professionals with 10+ years’ experience, not in management and not in IT or other tech areas Science, Technology & IT Professionals – $750 (just for the resume!) This is for persons in the need category of All Science & IT individual contributors above 3 years’ experience Career Changers $750 (just for the resume!) This would be for persons in the need category of ANYONE that is changing career and/or people returning to the workplace with more than 3 year’s total experience Management Resumes – $750 (just for the resume!) This is for persons in the need category of ALL managers with hiring and firing responsibilities Executive Resumes – $1100 (WOW!! JUST FOR A RESUME, TWO PAGES AT MOST!!!) This is for those senior management with bottom-line fiscal, hiring and firing responsibilities for managers. After seeing that, I was convinced that I could provide the same document preparation to anyone that is in need, without costing an arm and a leg, and a couple pints of blood. Let’s face it, People are out of work. People need some help one way or another. I took that national average of an entry-level resume, and divided that by 3, and that’s how I came up with my pricing. With all services, that is how I price for the services I offer.
