My lessons with Danielle were very valuable, because she helped me reach my goals of singing church solos and of being confident about auditioning for choirs I wanted to join. But it was the weekly lessons over a period of time, and her high expectations for technique and for singing beautifully, that enabled me to truly improve vocally. This didn't happen overnight. In my case we devoted time to rhythm, pitch, vowels, phrasing, and singing with breath support. I broadened my range, gaining higher notes, but also learned to use my chest voice better. I was very happy with my improvements. She was also really versatile in her knowledge of all kinds of music! Loved my lessons and will need them again soon because I want to get back into singing after a one year break.

For first time students, buy 3 lessons and get the 4th one free.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Inquire about past musical training and experiences. Discover goals, discuss types of music you'd like to sing or play. Describe lesson structure options and tailor them to your goals (i.e. a one-hour lesson to prepare for an audition would have a different structure than a half-hour lesson to build basic vocal skill or a 1.5 hour lessons that included music theory and musicianship training).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor's of Arts from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in Music History, cum laude, with musicology department highest honors. Master's of Arts from San Jose State University (SJSU) in Voice Performance. Currently performing with over a decade in professional level musical theatre, concerts, events, theatre and TV/commercials.
